Dance is always evolving as different forms collide to produce new works of art. Acro dance is one such progression, combining acrobatics with current jazz and hip hop to create fantastic performances suitable for fitness, hobbies, and even contests. If you’re a parent who went to dance schools as a kid, you might be wondering why your child should visit our acro dance classes.

Acro is an excellent addition to your child’s dancing class schedule for a variety of reasons, particularly for younger children (under the age of ten). At the Virtuous dance center, Acro Dance Classes for children aged 3 and above provide a fun and welcoming introduction to acrobatic dance. Acrobatic Arts is a prerequisite for Acro Dance.

This session will lay the groundwork for these techniques to be performed in a safe and focused environment. With our classes, children will be able to progress through Acrobatic Arts’ grades and levels. A few fascinating things your kids will learn from our classes include how to cartwheel, backbend, handstand, and backflip. What’s more? Our acro dancing lessons, which are led by a fully certified instructor, incorporate lifts and tricks along with cool balance skills.

At Virtuous dance center, kids will devote a significant amount of time to stretching and conditioning in order to get the needed flexibility and strength for the tricks. All of these factors will contribute to the development and promotion of various dance forms. Without the benefit of a sprung surface, an AcroDancer must accomplish all of the techniques on the hard stage while effortlessly combining melody, emotional expression, extension, control, and line.

Our acro dance classes are a bit similar to gymnastics because the dance form takes inspiration from the same. However, acro dancers are taught differently to adapt for the circumstances. This technique aids in the development of tremendous strength, control, coordination, and flexibility in pupils.

Acro dance training develops athleticism, flexibility, and agility in ways that conventional dance training does not. Classical dance, particularly ballet, necessitates a high level of all of these abilities, but for many young students, the training might be too “big picture,” and they may lose interest before gaining those abilities.

Students benefit from thoughtful progressions and organized stages that help them appropriately train their bodies to proceed to the next level only when they are ready. This substantially lowers the risk of injury, produces more technically accurate work, and allows dancers to advance more swiftly over time.

Kids might acquire tumbling and acrobatic skills before they can establish fundamental dance principles. Providing them with acro courses in addition to their traditional dance training allows them to learn necessary abilities in a way that younger children can understand. For some kids, acro will be their favorite form, while for others, it will be a stepping stone to become a more well-rounded dancer.

Acro offers a different sort of challenge for kids who thrive on the rigors of classical dance training. Breaking out of the classical mold to grasp that dance is an intrinsically flexible art form, and abilities may be utilized in a variety of ways.
