Virtuous Dance Center offers various styles and techniques in terms of ballet and other forms of dance. The instructors are highly skilled and trained to help students who want to learn the joys of ballet to excel.

Ballet is a prominent form of dance that teaches balance, endurance, strength, and flexibility. Technique and style are strongly emphasized. Students are also taught style variations and the correct use of terminology.

Ballet

Tiny Toes Ballet (Ages 3 – 5): Never taken a dance class but twirls around the house? This is the ballet class for you. Lets learn how to actually go onto relevé and point those toes. (Recital Fee)
Pre – 1(Ages 6 – 7): Just starting ballet? This is the class for you! In this class the dancer will explore the basic ballet steps and learn to follow along with the teacher. (Recital Fee)
Pre – 2 (Ages 8 – 9): Have a basic knowledge of ballet? Well this is the class you should be taking! After taking Pre – 1 this class will move you right along so that you’re ready for the more advance steps. (Recital Fee)
Recreational (Ages 6 +): First year of ballet? Ready for more advance steps? This class is both for dancers who have completed Pre 1 and 2 and dancers 10 + who are just starting ballet. (Recital Fee)
Pre Intermediate (Ages 8+): You must be placed in this class. Only dancers who have completed Recreational ballet and/or have been evaluated may register for this class. (Recital Fee)
Intermediate 1 (Ages 8+): You must be placed in this class. Only dancers who have completed Pre Intermediate (Pre – I) and/or have been evaluated may register for this class. This class goes hand in hand with pre – point. However there is a separate evaluation for pointe. (Recital Fee)
Intermediate 2 (Ages 8+): You must be placed in this class. Only dancers who have completed Intermediate 1 (I – 1) and/or have been evaluated may register for this class. This class goes hand in hand with point. However there is a separate evaluation for pointe. (Recital Fee)
Advance (Ages 10+): You must be placed in this class. Only dancers who have completed Intermediate 2 (I – 2) and/or have been evaluated may register for this class. This class goes hand in hand with point. However there is a separate evaluation for pointe. (Recital Fee)
Pre – Pointe (Ages 10+): You must be placed in this class. Only dancers who have completed Pre Intermediate (Pre – I) and/or have been evaluated may register for this class. Evaluation is MANDATORY. Advance Class
Pointe (Ages 12+): You must be placed in this class. Only dancers who have completed Pre pointe and/or have been evaluated may register for this class. Evaluation is MANDATORY. (Recital Fee) Advance Class
